Chat for fun

Sometimes, when I am really bored and have nothing to do, I just wanna chat with someone. So I go troll my Facebook peeps, my MSN peeps and my GTalk peeps. (Why am I not on Yahoo? I dunno.) Most of the time, I find someone of interest to chat with there. People like SA and GT who are my more regular blogger buddy chatmates. Or some of my collegemates or ex-colleagues. On very rare occasions, even my Dad (if he doesn't disappear offline in the middle of conversations). Heh. Other times, it seems like the whole world is offline except for me. What to do?

Maybe I should try out a
free chat room. But then again, you never know who you're going to meet in there. There are many stories, some good, some bad of other people's experiences with chatrooms. I've even heard of people who found their life partners online, but also of people who met with strangers who stalked them later and wouldn't give up. To try or not to try? Hmm....

Lil' old me is afraid of meeting nasty unknown strangers in chat rooms so I guess I'll pass. But if you want to try it out, be my guest!
