The old house is in need of some sprucing up. Especially with Christmas and later the Chinese New Year around the corner. On the perennial to do list: the windows, the curtains, the grilles, the gate, the walls and the cement floor of the porch. On the top of the list should be the gate and the floor. I didn't know that it'll cost RM2,000 to make just a simple gate to replace the current one. Heck, even the whole house grilles didn't cost that much! And we really should dig up and replace the cement flooring. I like the sound of the garage flooring at CarGuyGarage.com. They do a nice concrete flooring finish with professional grade epoxy and I wonder whether that would hold up under our tropical weather?

Should we redo the floor?
