DiGi Yellow Man!

I saw the DiGi Yellow Man in Damansara CineLeisure over the weekend of 28 - 29 April 2007 and couldn't resist snapping a shot for the album. But I do think this DiGi Yellow Man was a bit too thin compared with the advertisement, hor?

It's easy to win a prize

You gotta admit it, beyond receiving presents, prizes have got to be the next best thing in life besides receiving free stuff. I'm not scheduled to receive any presents until Christmas time, and free stuff (the good kind) is hard to come by, so I thought I'd try my hand at prizes.

That's where the Bid4Prizes website comes in handy. It's way easier to get a prize from them than if you enter one of those contests that make you buy stuff and write a slogan for them (none of my slogans have hit the mark so far!) or creatively sign the company name (I like my handwriting and all, but it doesn't win marks for creativity!). All you gotta do to win the prize of your choice is enter the lowest bid (that's unique) and if no one picks the same number as you, that's it, the prize is yours! And no, you don't have to pay a single cent (unless the taxman comes a calling) not even for shipping. I like the sound of that, don't you?

Right now I have my eyes on that cherry red BMW 3 series... It's a beemer, it's the cute 3 series, and it's red. Perfecto! I can just imagine myself taking the curves of a road to nowhere in it, with Matchbox Twenty blasting away as my beemer eats up the miles... Yeah, baby!

Now where did I put my mobile? *beep beep beep as fingers busily text bids*

I'm baaacckk!!

Yessss... my broadband Streamyx is finally back after I realized I had to reactivate it by calling them (uhm, account got suspended after bill went missing. LOL!). *slaps forehead* They did say I'd get reactivated within 24hrs, but I could start trying after 2hrs - which evidently didn't work (I spent the whole of last evening attempting to log-on) so they shouldn't even mention it. Geez. But yes, I'm back on the online chupping trail! Hopefully this means I'll get on the points scoreboard for THHC for May and be more prompt in responding to comments. And it also means I'll be able to ramp up my PPP endeavours, which died a rather quick death after my first post lately. This is so +ve chi! YAATTAAA!

In other news, I'm reminded of how short life can be as my uncle was diagnosed this week with cancer - in three places, lung, kidney and liver. He's not at the critical stage so the doctors have recommended commencing chemotherapy ASAP. I don't know how the family's taking it, but will probably be going to visit them over the weekend. Love life, don't take it for granted.

Lots of other things in my mind, but just haven't had the time to sit down, sort it out and write it out. I miss my blogging therapy. I'm so glad I'm finally back after nearly a month of restriction!

In other funny stuff that happened today, they were testing the fire alarm system in my office building. I was *ahem* sitting on the "throne" when suddenly I hear this message:

Your April Labours

This post was supposed to have been out yesterday but it was a public holiday - Labour Day (a mis-named holiday IMHO, because no labour is done on this day!) and so I was not "labouring" away at my laptop. Hahaha.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand... If you've been a regular visitor to my little corner of the web, you would have noticed those pretty T H H C™ logos on my sidebar... neh *point point to the right*

And you might have seen the strange language used in the comments of chups and hugs. *grin* Never fear, all is revealed when it's time to announce the Gold, the Silver and the Bronze medals for the Chuppers of this T H H C™ resort. And here are the hard-working Chuppers for the month of April...

1st place Gold medal - kyh with 23 huggie points!!!
